For Salone del Mobile 2017, through a collaboration with the Japanese giant of electronics, Panasonic, the GO ON project developed and exhibited prototypes of products which reflect a new approach to home appliances. HOSOO's presentation consisted of speakers which use textiles not simply as embellishment, but as a “switch” that, when touched by hand will play music. The joy that is spurred by this subtle collaboration between traditional crafts and electronics is indicative of the happiness that can be found in what can seemingly be too fundamental and often overlooked in the digital age, the five senses. “Electronics Meets Crafts:” exhibition was awarded the Milano Design Award 2017 for Best Storytelling.
